Please read below for how these new changes for the 2023 / 2024 season affect the rules and how they may even affect you.
OK, so what is a ‘quota player’ for the present 2023 / 2024 season ?
So a ‘quota player’ is a player who can be registered for one team but is able to play for another team within the same club. This allows those quota players to play every game of the season if necessary for their club, so for example our very own big ROB, the Raptors Captain can play every game for the Raptors this season and if needed then he can also be asked by the Cobras to play every game for them too.
So the qualifications to be a ‘quota player’ are as follows and there are three conditions and for any players not meeting these conditions or being in these categories then you are not eligible to be a ‘quota player’. You only need to meet one of these conditions by the way. DURING GAMEPLAY, TWO QUOTA PLAYERS MUST BE ON COURT AT ALL TIMES.
1…You must be under 18 years of age
2…You must be over 50 years of age
3…You must be female
So if you are female regardless of age then you can play every game, if you are under 18 then you can play every game, if you are over 50 then you can play every game.
So those excluded for becoming a ‘quota player’ are males who are from 18 – 50 years old – it is as simple as that.

These rule changes are currently only for the coming season but may become a permanent thing depending of how the season goes.
Under 18's
If you are UNDER the age of 18 then you are officially a Quota Player and your team can use you for any of their games.
Over 50's
If you are over 50 years of age then you are also officially a Quota Player and this means that your can play you in any of their matches during the season.
Female Players
For any Female Players in our club then you are also officially a Quota Player meaning your club can allow you to play in any of the clubs games throughout the season.
